WHY SHOULD YOUR THEATRE BECOME A YACTA MEMBER?

There are numerous reasons for becoming a member of the YOUNGSTOWN AREA COMMUNITY THEATRE ALLIANCE.

Many of these reasons pertain to a "Members Only" type of benefits. As in any organization, there is a basic element of the "safety in numbers" concept. The arts are faced with many problems that other organizations don't normally have to deal with. The "arts" in general carries with it, a stigma in many circles, which cripples the arts as it attempts to move in many directions. Most of those directions have a hand in the survival of each arts organization. Banding arts organizations together (in this case, theatre organizations) provides those theatres with a bit of a benefit in the survival process. Any kind of "leg-up" that a theatre can get in the production of shows or even in the day-to-day operations of the facility can certainly aid in the success of that theatre. And keep in mind, that success in theatre breeds success. As each theatre is successful in their individual endeavors, it indirectly aids other theatres in their own successes.
